Towa Bird is still in her early stages, but she already has a lot to be proud of. The Filipina-British singer debuted the video for her “messy and fun” tune “Drain Me,” which she’s been touring with Reneé Rapp.

“I have been documenting this tour on my handy cam and we decided to splice the clips together to make a DIY video, showing you live footage and behind-the-scenes of the show,” Towa Bird was quoted as saying by Rolling Stone. “This specific tour is so unique because I get to hang with my friends every single day and I hope Alexander 23 and Reneé aren’t sick of me.”

Towa Bird is shown behind the scenes and onstage during her opening sets, as well as singing along to the song and playing the guitar. “Playing the opening slot is a sick privilege but because I’m still a developing artist, they don’t know my songs,” Bird said. “We have the chance to do some convincing.”

Bird describes the new song as her “sexiest song by far” (on TikTok, she referred to it as her “horniest“). “Sorry to my parents if you’re reading this,” she says with a smirk. “I hope you love it.”

“Drain Me” is Bird’s fourth single, following the release of songs such as “Wild Heart,” “Boomerang,” and “This Isn’t Me,” all of which she’s been singing live.

Towa Bird has amassed a following on TikTok, where she showcases her life on the road as well as her guitar skills to songs like Kali Uchis’ “Telepata.” She also played guitar for Olivia Rodrigo’s Driving Home 2 U performance film.
